Your rank is determined by your League Points (LP). There is no hidden number, what your LP shows is where you are ranked in Invincible VS. Whenever you play a ranked match, the amount of LP you earn (or lose!) is determined by your opponent's rank. By default, you will earn 50 LP for each win and lose 40 LP for each loss. If your opponent is ranked much higher or much lower than you, that will affect the amount of LP you'll gain or lose by a bit. At minimum, you will gain or lose 25 LP if the difference between you and your opponent is very large. Up until the Platinum Rank, players will also earn Win-Streak bonuses that will increase the amount of LP they gain by a percentage. Once a player is in the Guardians of the Globe rank, losses start at 50 LP for each loss. For matchmaking, Invincible VS will try to match you with opponents who are close to your skill level first. This will also take into account your online preferences, so make sure to adjust those on the Online menu. If matches take too long to find, the band of search will slowly expand. Eventually, you will be matched against anyone who is searching for a game.
